Booking Information – Book direct for best prices
We accept most major debit/credit cards but due to rising transaction costs we would appreciate payment by debit card (or cash stirling). Please note, non-uk based cards incur a 5% levy from the issuer which we regret we now have to pass on.
We regret we are unable to accept provisional bookings and no reservation is guaranteed until we have your card details and payment in full.
In the event of cancellation please advise us immediately and we will do our very best to re-book that period. If you cancel within 28 days of arrival and we are unsuccessful in re-booking that period we regret we will have to charge you in full. If you cancel within 60 days and we are unsuccessful in re-booking that period we will refund 50% of your booking. No refund will be given for no-shows or stay reductions after arrival. We recommend you take out travel insurance at the time of booking. Please do check with us to see if a suitable alternative date is available.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Appledown Cottage is available between 4 pm and 6 pm on the day of arrival. If you need to arrive earlier or later than this, please make arrangements with us on 01822 610478, or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. We ask you to vacate your room by 11 am on the day of departure. During your stay you have constant access to the annexe, the pool*, terrace and garden.
A deposit of £150 is payable in cash stirling on arrival. Any damage or additional cleaning costs will be deducted from this. The deposit will be refunded once the inventory and the Cottage have been inspected in full by both you (the guest) and us (the owner) together.

Please note we will close for Christmas on 21st December and re-open in the New Year on 4th January
